Native des États-Unis, Elizabeth fut immergée dès l’enfance dans les affaires du monde de part son éducation et sa famille. En particulier, elle est la fille de W. DeVier Pierson, Conseiller Spécial du Président Lyndon B. Johnson et d’autres, dont JFK.

Elle initie sa carrière dans les arts à New York auprès de Sotheby’s puis devient Directrice de galeries d’art spécialisées dans la peinture de grands maîtres du 17e-20e siècle et consultante, ce qui la conduit à vivre à Rome, Paris, Londres et en Espagne. À partir de 2002 elle établit sa base à Paris où elle élève ses enfants. Elizabeth parle le francais, l’espagnol et l’italien.

Activiste dans l’âme, elle a fait partie des Comités de campagne ‘American Abroad’ d’Obama et de H. Clinton ainsi que de la task force américaine soutenant la campagne 2017 de Macron. Le dialogue au-delà des lignes partisanes lui incombe : elle est la co-fondatrice de Europe Cordiale Circle - un forum diplomatique bi-artisan et trans-sectoriel, et collabore avec le Centre Europe du think tank Atlantic Council. Elle est convaincue que les arts ont un rôle vital à jouer dans notre monde. Elle est la fondatrice de The H2a Foundation, dont la mission est de contribuer à la préservation des océans et cours d'eau par un dialogue avec les arts.

An American by birth Elizabeth was educated at the prestigious Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C.,and comes from a family with a deep foundation in governance and diplomacy The daughter of W. DeVier Pierson, Special Counsel to President Lyndon B. Johnson and advisor to others, including JFK; the great-niece of Senator Mike Monroney, and with two brothers working both sides of the aisle, Steve Pierson now running for State Assembly in California, she has a strong grounding in the political process.

After her early career in the art world of New York at Sotheby’s and later as the Director of Old Master art galleries before establishing her advisory, Elizabeth spent most of her adult life based in Europe. She ran galleries in Rome and later in London, UK, has spent over two decades working in cities in Spain, and has lived in Paris since 2002 where she raised her family and was the Creative Director of an art gallery specializing in 17th-20th Century French paintings. She speaks French, Spanish and Italian and is a pianist, writer, editor and photographer.

An activist by nature who studied Political Science at College, Elizabeth served with the leadership of Democrats Abroad under President Obama; was on the Finance Committee and Arts Committee for the Clinton/Kaine Campaign where she represented Americans abroad at many public speaking events around the world; and served on an American task force on President Macron’s En Marche campaign. She is a co-Founder of the Europe Cordiale Circle (ECC) a bi-partisan, cross-sectorial diplomatic forum; and she currently works with the Europe Center at the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C. with a focus on strengthening and enhancing transatlantic relations.

Elizabeth holds the firm belief that the arts have a vital role to play in our world today. She is the Founder of The H2a Foundation. Ocean conservation and issues surrounding the sustainability of our waterways are on the front line in the battle against climate change, and keeping our aquatic eco-systems alive supports and sustains the life of our planet as a whole. The H2a Foundation works in partnership with individuals and organizations around the globe to heighten awareness, educate and strategize on initiatives that have at their core a desire to create real and lasting change.
